What is Basque-style cheesecake?
Basque-style cheesecake comes from San Sebastian, Spain, in the heart of Basque Country. What makes it stand out is its unique baking process—it’s baked at high heat to achieve its signature caramel-kissed top and crustless exterior with a creamy, custardy interior.
The real magic lies in the spectrum of textures. A velvety, smooth center meets a beautifully burnt, rustic exterior, creating the textural variation that sets it apart from other cheesecakes. It’s pure, luxurious, and unapologetically indulgent.
What does it taste like?
This dessert is a study in contrasts. On the outside, it’s dark, broody, and caramelized to perfection. Inside, it reveals a bright, creamy center—light, silky, and filled with complex, custardy flavors. Each bite offers a swirl of sensations, buried within its layers.
What if I don’t like cheesecake?
Good news: crème’s Basque-style cheesecake is far from ordinary. Forget dense, overly sweet cakes with a crust. This cheesecake is crustless, with a burnt caramelized top that adds a bold, toasty flavor. The inside is light, silky, and custardy, more like flan than your typical cheesecake.

What if I’m not satisfied with my cheesecake?
At crème, we aim for every bite to be as delightful as the first. If you’re not entirely satisfied, email us at support@cremefoods.com with your order number and feedback. We’ll make it right.
How big is each cheesecake?
Each cheesecake is 8 inches, or 8 to 10 servings (or fewer, if you’re like us and keep it all to yourself).
How do I store it?
Cheesecakes last 4 - 5 days in the refrigerator or around 2 months in the freezer (in plastic wrap or an airtight container).
To serve after freezing:
- Thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
- Let it sit on the counter for 2 hours before serving.
Weekly Product Drops

How do weekly drops work?
We operate on a weekly drop system—which means you’ll need to place your order in advance to secure your cheesecake for the week.
When can I order?
Orders open weekly on our website and close every Tuesday at 11:59 PM CST. If you miss the deadline, don’t worry—another drop is coming next week!
When and where do I pick up my order?
All orders will be available for pickup on Saturdays between 3 PM and 6 PM at Nikkolette's Macarons, 3425 Highway 169N, Plymouth, MN 55441. Pickup details will also be provided in your confirmation email.
If you can’t make the scheduled pick-up time, contact us via email at support@cremefoods.com, and we’ll do our best to reschedule.
Can I order after Tuesday’s deadline?
Unfortunately, once ordering closes, we’re locked in for the week. Be sure to place your order before Tuesday at 11:59 PM CST to secure your cheesecake!

How do I place an order?
Place orders through our website. Payment is required at checkout, and we accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods.
Can I modify my order?
Unfortunately, orders cannot be changed once confirmed.

Where do you ship to?
We don’t currently offer shipping, but we do provide pick-up at product drop locations and at our kitchen (Nikkolette's Macarons in Plymouth). We also delivery within the Twin Cities metro area (whole cakes only).

Where can I pick up my order?
For online orders, pick-up is available at our kitchen: Nikkolette's Macarons, 3425 Highway 169N, Plymouth MN 55441. You’ll receive the location and details via email after confirming your order.
What if I can’t make the scheduled pick-up time?
Contact us via email at support@cremefoods.com at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll do our best to reschedule.
DELIVERY

Do you deliver?
Yes! We deliver within the Twin Cities metro area (whole cakes only). Be sure to include any delivery instructions when placing your order.
What if I miss my delivery?
Our courier will leave your cheesecake in a safe spot if no one is available. However, we can’t guarantee quality if it’s left outside for too long—or if it becomes a tempting snack for curious critters or passersby. Make sure to retrieve it promptly to enjoy it at its best!
What about warmer months?
During warmer months (May-September), cheesecakes should be refrigerated at 40° F upon delivery to maintain quality.
